TITUS Sports Marketing has been recognized by Sports Business Journal as one of the nation's premier high school sports marketing companies, which explains its headquarters in Texas.
The core of TITUS is Experiential Marketing. TITUS has the versatility to produce and manage local, regional or national activations while our footprint has expanded in the past three years from high school athletics into college athletics and cultural events, as well as regular season and playoff events in professional football. Our staff of experienced Event Managers in the fall of 2011 steered events from Arizona to Florida and from South Dakota to Texas.
Our Campus Marketing division is where TITUS began, in 2003. In 2004, TITUS spearheaded the world's largest naming rights contract for a high school athletic facility by contracting Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals for the Tyler Independent School District's Rose Stadium in Tyler, Texas. TITUS has also delivered another history-making naming rights contract, with The Performance Course partnership with the Carroll Independent School District and their Indoor Training Facility in Southlake, Texas. Beyond naming rights, TITUS has a wealth of experience marketing for schools or associations and selling venue signage; from video scoreboards to sideline signage to outfield walls at baseball and softball fields.
The Event Marketing division specializes in youth and high school football camps and events, but also includes a four-game national high school and collegiate lacrosse showcase to its resume. In 2007, TITUS managed what ESPN labeled "the biggest game in the history of high school football" when No. 1 Miami Northwestern and No. 2 Southlake Carroll played before a regular season state-record crowd of more than 31,000 fans at SMU's Ford Stadium in Dallas. The 'Clash of Champions,' in partnership with Paragon Marketing Group and ESPNU, included TITUS posting one-day Internet sales of nearly 5,000 ticket sales at the event's interactive web site built and managed by TITUS. In 2011, TITUS managed for one of its key clients a regional 7-on-7 football event which also included Quarterback, Kicking and Lineman Challenge skills contests and a Player BBQ. In 2012, among other events, TITUS will assist with the ninth-annual Trinity Mother Frances Football Classic. Champions are birthed in this high school event as Chapel Hill became the seventh school since 2004 to start its season in the Classic and end as State Champions (winning at Cowboys Stadium in December of 2011). The 2010 event in Tyler was highlighted by two defending state champions (Gilmer and Euless Trinity) and the finale was played before more than 12,000 fans and televised live on ESPNU.
How did TITUS gain its name? The Book of Titus in the Bible's New Testament contains a key verse that is our cornerstone and the commitment we strive to maintain with every customer: "In everything set an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity." -- Titus 2:7.
